This is a rare opportunity to join a growing, modern law firm at an exciting stage of its development. Over the past year, the firm has invested heavily in refining its processes, strengthening its culture, and setting itself up for long term growth, with future expansion and franchising firmly on the horizon. They’re now looking to add an experienced Wills & Estates lawyer who enjoys autonomy, values strong client relationships, and wants to be part of something they can genuinely help shape. The Role You’ll be trusted to manage your own files and work with a high level of independence, while still having access to hands on support when needed. The practice is currently seeing strong demand in wills and estates matters, including: Complex wills and estate planning Testamentary trusts and structuring Estate administration and probate Estate litigation and Part IV claims There is also scope to work across family and commercial matters, depending on your experience and interests. This role would suit someone who: Has solid experience in wills and estates and can manage matters autonomously Is confident handling more complex files Takes pride in their work and delivers excellent client service Is practical, down-to-earth, and values collaboration Enjoys sharing knowledge and may be open to mentoring juniors or paralegals Has an interest in business development and growing a practice (not essential, but highly regarded) While the preference is for a mid-level lawyer, more junior candidates will be considered if they have the capability and confidence to run files independently. You’ll report directly to a highly approachable and supportive partner who is always available for guidance. While the role is autonomous by nature, you’ll be backed by experienced paralegals, conveyancers, and administrative support. The environment is encouraging rather than hierarchical, with a strong focus on setting people up to succeed.
